Paris, October 21, 2011 – The office of Efus in Paris was transformed during two days into a film studio for the shooting session of the FALPREV project, on October 19 and 20. This project aims at training local stakeholders in the prevention of reoffending. The video clips shot in Paris will be included in the E-learning platform that will be launched in January 2012.

In order to provide a lively visual content to the learning modules, each partner recorded a short presentation of a few minutes explaining one aspect of the various themes covered in the training programme. For instance, the work between local authority and prison on issues of health and housing in Le Havre (France), the construction of a solid partnership to effectively deal with the situation of ex-prisoners in Brasov (Romania) and Belfast (UK), the project of a peer mentoring scheme between the University and the open prison of Göttingen (Germany), and a training programme for the selection of prisoners in Turin (Italy).

The shooting team from Vezfilm, a young, London-based production company, took advantage of the architecture and design of the Paris office to set up the best possible visual background for the video clips recorded with the partners.

These two days of shooting have been productive and creative. We hope that this first foray into the making of an audio-visual E-learning platform, halfway between a web-documentary and an on-line course, will interest member cities of Efus!
