In its recent conclusions adopting the 2011-2013 EU Work Programme on minimising safety, security and public order risks in connection with sports events, in particular football matches, with an international dimension, the Council of the European Union mentions Efus as an authoritative institution in the field of prevention of crimes linked to sports. In particular, it mentions Efus as a specialist in cooperation between institutions and local authorities.
