1. General Information :

Reggio Emilia is a region in northern Italy. Region in continued economic growth, thanks to numerous industries, is the one of the first region in Italy for employment rate and export. Reggio Emilia is a region of young people and for young people.
Reggio Emilia has established ten twinning pacts, six pacts of friendship and is linked to over two hundred international companies, participated in numerous European and international projects and it is the only Italian city partner the project “Intercultural Cities” sponsored by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, as the only Italian. Reggio Emilia founded the Italian network of intercultural dialogue with Turin, Genoa, Bari, Riace, Savignano sul Rubicone, Fermo, Lodi, Senigaglia, Viareggio, and Florence.

During the last 5 years the municipality has developed different projects focus on intercultural dialogue, exchanges of experiences and local citizen’s participation.
