São João da Madeira is a Portuguese city located in the District of Aveiro. The municipality currently occupies an area of 8 km² and has a total population of 21 713 inhabitants, split up only into 1 “freguesia”.
It borders the municipalities of Santa Maria da Feira on the north and on the west, and of Oliveira de Azeméis on the east and on the south.
