A year after the first meeting of its working group on radicalisation and following several meetings with local stakeholders to raise awareness on this issue, the town of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Spain) asked Efus to help it draft the local strategy for the prevention of violent radicalisation.
Efus has been working with L’Hospitalet since January 2018 to help it define and formalise the objectives, priorities and initiatives planned as part the municipal strategy for the prevention of radicalisation, which is included in the Town Council’s overall security strategy. This work builds on the experience and knowledge of local stakeholders who work on crime prevention and social inclusion. In this sense, co-production will be one of the pillars of the strategy. Efus’ mission in L’Hospitalet is part of the range of services it offers to local and regional authorities, which include support for the drafting and implementation of their local security strategy. We will regularly update you on the progress of this project.
