EUROP-COP third workshop – Paris, 22 April 2008
SAGEM Défense Sécurité and its consortium partners have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the third and final workshop of the Europ-Cop project, that is going to be held in Paris on April 22nd 2008.
This project is financed by the European Commission within its security research programme (PASR) and its main goal is to “define and evaluate technologies to improve the efficiency of a pedestrian police officer. It will provide pedestrian police officers with better information capture and management, improving their efficiency and the global efficiency of the system. At the same time, it will enable police officers to give better services to citizens”.
By participating to this workshop, you will get first-hand access to the project’s results and attend demonstrations of the proposed equipment. The workshop was conceived as an interactive session, each participant’s contribution being acknowledged.
The European Forum for Urban Safety will participate with a short presentation of its goals and activities and invites its member cities interested in the topic to contact the organizers directly in order to ensure their attendance to this event.
