Bologna, Italy, November 2014 – The final conference of the European project Share My City on the management of conflicts among users of urban public spaces will be held in Bologna (Italy), on 5 December 2014.
The project Share My City was led by the city of Perugia in partnership with the Italian Forum for Urban Security (FISU), the social cooperative Borgorete (Italy), the University of Business and Health Science of Lodz (Poland), the research institute Arcola Research (UK), and the Intras Foundation of Valladolid (Spain).
The objective was to share strategies and conduct field work on the management of conflict in public spaces, in particular in recreational areas. Three research-actions were thus carried out in Perugia, Valladolid and the London borough of Hackney.
The results of the field work will be presented at the final conference. Participants will also have the opportunity to share and discuss their experience. The meeting will be structured around dialogues between those who have directly participated in the field work and international experts.
The executive director of the European Forum (Efus), Elizabeth Johnston, will provide the closing remarks.
