The European best practices will be presented in December 2011 in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the European Crime Prevention Awards. This event, which is organised each year by the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN), is an opportunity to promote local practices on a European level and to choose a winner from among the contestants. Last year, Poland won the prize with its “Safe Seniors” project.
The French Forum for Urban Security (FFSU), EUCPN’s contact in France, organises a national award, the aim of which is to choose France’s representative to attend the European ceremony. France is very active in this area and the FFSU already has 83 projects. The jury will have the difficult task of choosing the winner! The French prize will be awarded on 27 October 2011 at the town hall in Paris. For more information (in French), click here.
