Daniela Idrovo

Researcher

Daniela Idrovo is an Ecuadorian architect with a PhD in Urban Management and Valuation focused on urban security. Her work has largely focused on public services and more specifically on exploring how the decentralisation of public services, such as those dealing with security, has influenced land-use and urban planning.

Daniela’s most recent research project centred on proposing a method for approximating conflictual environments, based on exploring the influence of urban regeneration policies on urban citizens’ perceptions of safety in their cities.
