Sarcelles

1. General Information :

Sarcelles is a French commune located in the Val d’Oise department and in the Ile-de-France region. An emblematic city of the Parisian suburbs, it was the site of the first French housing estate that was built between 1955 and 1970. In 2000 it became the sub-prefecture of the Val d’Oise department.

Safety Contract: since 1999 the commune has encouraged a comprehensive policy for prevention developed by the new prevention management, which was formed in August 2006. Among other things, this board ensures the coordination of the Local contract for Prevention and Security (implemented in 1999) as part of a Local Council for Safety and Crime Prevention (implemented in 2003).
