Paris, France, November 2019– The European Forum for Urban Security has received for the second time the IDEAS label, which certifies the quality of its governance, financial management and activity monitoring.
> A rigorous approach
The IDEAS label is awarded to associations and foundations that respect the IDEAS Good Practice Guide. Developed by stakeholders in the volunteer and philanthropy sectors, this set of standards covers all the main areas of work of non-profit organisations: governance, financial management and activity monitoring.
In 2013, following a period during IDEAS worked together with Efus to strengthen its operating mode and development, Efus obtained the label for the first time.
> A guarantee of good practices
“The European Forum for Urban Security (Efus) is proud to see its label renewed. This shows our association is functioning well, in particular as regards the rigour and ethics we having been demonstrating for years in our daily management. The IDEAS label is a proof of excellence and we are delighted to be able to highlight it with our members, partners and financiers.” Bernard Rivaillé, Deputy Mayor of Lormont (FR), member of Efus’ Executive Committee, President of the Audit Committee.
