Paris, April 2013 – The first international conference on nightlife, “Nights 2013 – Health, Pleasure and Communities”, organised by the European project “Nightlife Empowerment and Well-Being Implementation Project (NEWIP – www.safernightlife.org)” and supported by the European Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC), will be held in Padova (Italy) on 25, 26 and 27 September 2013.
The conference will bring together nightlife stakeholders such as scientists, health professionals, volunteers, peer workers, club owners, public body representatives, party organisers, and partygoers. They will share information about recent methods to improve the quality of the nightlife scene and public well-being.
The association Fêtez Clairs, a long-time partner of both Efus and the French Forum, is partner in the NEWIP project, while Efus’ Executive Director, Elizabeth Johnston, is member of the scientific committee of the “Nights 2013” conference.
