The EFUS supported the German Forum for Crime Prevention (DFK), with the organisation of a study day on the riots that took place in French suburbs in the fall of 2006; this day was hosted by the DFK on 20th January 2007 in Bonn. The intervention of Bernard Vincent, vice-president of the French Forum for Urban Safety and vice-mayor of the Parisian suburban town of Aubervilliers, provoked a very interesting debate on the themes of immigration, integration and prevention.
An meeting report as well as more background information is available in French and German language.
