Efus to submit two EU proposals on the prevention of and fight against discrimination
Efus is currently preparing two project proposals in the framework of the Rights, Equality & Citizenship programme of the European Commission (DG Justice). The first one seeks to prevent discrimination by focusing in particular on the role of the police as a prevention agent, and the second is centred on the integration of Roma people. The European Commission consults cities on the future EU urban agenda
The European Commission organised a “Cities Forum” on 2 June in Brussels to consult representatives of European cities and civil society on the future urban agenda of the European Union. Efus took part in this meeting together with some 500 people including several MEPs as well as representatives of the European Commission, of numerous non governmental organisations and of local authorities.
