“Security, Democracy and Cities : The Future of Prevention”
12, 13 and 14 December 2012

Organised by Efus in partnership with Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis (France) (see their candidacy video), this interdisciplinary and international conference will be dedicated to the exchange of practices, experience and knowledge on crime prevention in Europe and around the world.

A number of distinguished speakers have already confirmed their presence : several members of the French government -Mr. Manuel Valls, Minister of Interior, Mr. François Lamy, Minister of Urban Affairs, Ms. Christiane Taubira, Keeper of the Seals and Minister of Justice, and Ms. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, Minister of Women’s Rights (to be confirmed) .

The Stade de France will be the main venue, however the conference will also be present throughout various locations in Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis. Participants will have the opportunity to discover some of the practices that have been developed over the years by local actors at first hand.
